Q1: How many workers can use this HLL at once?
A: Up to 2 users in fall arrest when the system is installed exactly as instructed and all components are compatible and rated.
Q2: Why a 30° sag and how do I set it?
A: Sag controls arrest and end-anchor forces. Use the integrated tensioner to pre-tension the line until the system achieves the approx. 30° design sag specified for this kit; don’t over-tension, and recheck sag after loading or temperature changes.
Q3: What anchorage do I need?
A: Provide two independent end anchors rated 5,000 lb minimum each (or engineered by a qualified person). Anchors should be structurally sound, at similar heights, and free of sharp edges; use rated connectors only.
Q4: How much fall clearance is required?
A: Clearance depends on span, sag, anchor height, and your PPE. Account for free-fall distance, deceleration, harness/D-ring shift, HLL deflection (often the largest factor), and a safety margin. Always consult the kit’s clearance chart for your exact setup.
