S-5-E

The S-5-E Standing Seam Metal Clamp is designed specifically for double-folded standing seam roof profiles having the appropriate dimensioning. Although a bit smaller and less expensive than the S-5-U, the S-5-E is just as strong for these profiles.

S-5-H

The S-5-H clamp was specifically developed to securely and cost-effectively accommodate metal roof panels with a horizontal seam. The S-5-H is unique in that it allows for attachment to a horizontal seam on the vertical leg of the seam.

S-5-H90

The S-5-H90 Standing Seam Metal Clamp is a one-piece clamp that was developed to securely and cost-effectively accommodate metal roof panels with a horizontal seam greater than 0.65?. Turning the clamp 90 degrees so that the bolt hole side is facing up, slip the clamp on the seam and tighten the setscrews.

S-5-K

The S-5-K Grip clamp was specifically developed to fit Klip-Rib® and other bulb snap-together seams. The design utilizes multiple inserts (sold separately) in order to accommodate a variety of bulb snap together profiles. Each insert has a unique shape that allows for a tight fit and provides increased holding strength over other attachment options.

S-5-K HD

S-5-KHD is the most heavy-duty and durable clamp in the S-5!®? family. Designed primarily for new construction, this clamp fits the very distinctive profiles of the Lysaght 406, McElroy Mirage, Metal Sales Clip Loc, and AEP-SPAN Klip-Rib.

S-5-N

S-5! introduces the new and improved S-5-N Standing Seam Metal Clamps. The new design features an innovative insert that ensures a superior fit for new and wider nail strip profiles as well as older ones.

S-5-Q

S-5-Q Standing Seam Metal Clamp was specifically developed to accommodate metal roof panels having a large, round bulb seam configuration up to 29 mm.

S-5-R465

S-5-R465 clamp replaces the S-5-R, proving to have more than three times the holding strength. The clamps are uniquely designed with opposing setscrews to maximize holding strength. The round-point setscrews do not penetrate the weathering membrane of the roof, nor damage the protective Galvalume coatings of steel panels.

S-5-S

The S-5-S Standing Seam Metal Clamp was created specifically for popular snap-together profiles—including residential profiles by Taylor Metals and Easy Lock Standing Seam. For horizontal seams under .540 inches (like the Firestone UC4) the S-5-S or S-5-S Mini clamp can be used to avoid the necessity of crimping the seam.

S-5-T

The S-5-T Standing Seam Metal Clamp is specially developed to fit profiles having a “T” shaped seam configuration. It will also work on architectural “single-fold” or “horizontal seam” profiles having a horizontal projection of 5/8” or less. Its two-piece design allows it to be easily installed anywhere along the length of the panel seam.

S-5-U

The S-5-U Standing Seam Metal Clamp is by far the most popular and most versatile clamp. It will fit about 85% of the standing seam profiles manufactured in North America — including most structural and architectural profiles. It can be used on vertically oriented seams, and by rotating the clamp 90 degrees, it can also be used on most horizontal 2” seam profiles. Its simple design, generous dimensioning and multiple hole orientations are what make it so versatile for use with S-5!® snow retention products and other heavy-duty applications.

S-5-V

The S-5-V Standing Seam Metal Clamp is a versatile clamp that fits vertical-folded seam profiles manufactured in North America—including most structural and architectural profiles.

S-5-Z

The S-5-Z Standing Seam Metal Clamp is specially developed to fit profiles having a round “bulb” seamconfiguration. Its two-piece design allows it to be easily installed anywhere along the length of the rib.

Zero Penetration - Maintain Warranties

S-5! invented the technology of utilizing round-point setscrews for a secure mechanical interlock, while protecting the standing seam and any sacrificial coatings, leaving roof warranties intact.

We conducted ASTM-B117 salt-fog testing to prove our clamp attachments cause no premature corrosion to the roof panels.

All clamps are designed to outlast the standing seam metal roof using prudent designs, non-corrosive materials and metallurgy.

Clamps utilize Torx setscrews – These screws are resistant to stripping, easy to drive and remove bit during installation. Driver tips are provided with each box of clamps and bits are widely available internationally.

Rigorous and Accredited Laboratory Testing

Tensile load testing is vital to engineering any application and results vary widely with panel material, thickness, profile, and even brand of manufacture. That’s why we've performed 3,000+ load tests on 500+ different standing seam metal roof profiles, materials and gauges in two load directions:

Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull up)
Parallel-to-seam testing (drag load)

No ASTM protocols for testing of metal roof seam clamps existed, so we created one back in 1992 before we offered any product for sale. All of our testing is performed in a third-party, ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

Ease of Installation

S-5! metal roof clamps were invented by a contractor and metal roof consultant, so they are designed with the installer in mind to reduce the amount of time spent on the roof and to increase field efficiency.
