Super Anchor Safety 2815T - Tile Retro-Fit Anchor

Purpose-built for tile and slate roofs, the 2815T is a permanent, low-profile double D-ring anchor that slides under the last course so only the rings show. Its extended strap (with ~40" between D-rings) lets you hit structure while keeping a clean look, and it installs without penetrating the sheathing. A factory butyl strip and stainless fasteners help deliver a water-resistant, long-lasting tie-off point that meets OSHA/ANSI.

• Q: Can both D-rings be used at the same time?
  A: No. The dual D-rings provide approach options from either side of the anchor, but connect only one PFAS per user and never attach multiple users unless the manufacturer’s instructions explicitly permit it.
• Q: How should I orient and position the anchor for safest use?
  A: Install directly over a structural member (rafter/truss) and keep the tie-off in line with the roof slope so loads track with the fall path. Stay within the specified service angles, avoid side-loading or back-loading, and position the anchor as high as practical above the work area to reduce swing risk.
• Q: Is it acceptable to use this anchor as part of a horizontal lifeline?
  A: Not by default. Only use it in an engineered HLL system designed and approved by a qualified person, with anchors specifically evaluated for the added line tension and off-axis forces.
• Q: What inspection and retirement practices should I follow?
  A: Perform a pre-use check before each shift and a documented competent-person inspection at least annually (more often in harsh conditions). Remove the anchor from service after any fall event or if you see deformation, cracks, corrosion, loose/damaged fasteners, or compromised weather sealing.
