Super Anchor Safety 2813 - RS-10 Single D-Ring, Retro-Fit Anchor

The RS-10 is a compact, stainless steel retrofit anchor designed for fast, watertight installs on new or existing shingle roofs. At 8-1/2" long, it sits over the roofing material and provides a low-profile, single D-ring tie-off for routine access, service work, and permanent protection. Rated to 5,000 lb and compliant with OSHA/ANSI, it’s a rugged, one-person anchorage you can trust at the ridge, hip-ridge, or in the field.

• Built for shingles & retrofits: 8-1/2" length allows installation over roofing; ideal companion to the full Retro-Fit anchor for hips and shed roofs. 
• Durable materials: Anchor leg made from 20-ga 430 stainless steel with a stamped Dacromet® (or yellow-zinc) steel D-ring for corrosion resistance. 
• Permanent or temporary use: Install at ridge, hip-ridge, or field; permanent units include 8 stainless spiral-shank nails and a factory butyl flashing strip for weather sealing.

• Q: Can the anchor be reused after arresting a fall?
  A: No. Any anchor involved in a fall must be removed from service and replaced. Keep it only if inspection confirms it has never arrested a fall and shows no damage or deformation.
• Q: How often should it be inspected and by whom?
  A: Do a quick visual/tactile check before each use, and have a competent person perform a documented inspection at least annually (or more often in harsh environments).
• Q: What connectors and lanyards are compatible?
  A: Use ANSI-compliant PFAS components—locking snap hooks or carabiners—and an energy-absorbing lanyard or SRL rated for a single user. Avoid mixed-metal contact that could accelerate corrosion.
• Q: Can it stay in place during re-roofing, and how is waterproofing maintained?
  A: Yes, if undamaged. Temporarily lift materials as needed, replace/seal the flashing (butyl) per instructions, verify fastener tightness, and re-check for leaks after the roof work is complete.
