    Description

Built for vertical lifeline work, the 6195-Z pairs a compact MAX Force energy absorber with a double-locking snaphook and a zinc ADP mechanical grab. The result: smooth travel when you need it, confident locking when you don’t, and controlled arrest forces if a fall occurs. Rugged webbing, a protective pack cover, and clear labeling make inspections fast so crews spend more time working and less time fiddling with gear.

    Features

    • MAX Force pack-style energy absorber limits arrest forces during a fall.
    • ADP mechanical rope grab provides smooth, precise lifeline travel and positive locking under load.
    • Double-locking snaphook delivers quick, secure connections to rated D-rings/anchors.
    • Compact, low-profile energy pack keeps the connection tidy and reduces snag hazards.
    • Tear-away deployment indicator offers an immediate “remove from service” cue after an event.
    • Durable, high-tenacity webbing and corrosion-resistant hardware (zinc finish on the grab) for jobsite longevity.
    • Clear serial/inspection labeling supports pre-use and periodic compliance checks.
    • Compatible with approved full-body harnesses, vertical lifelines, and rated connectors when used per instructions.

    FAQs

Q: What do the MAX Force absorber and ADP Grab do?
A: They work together so the absorber limits arrest force during a fall while the ADP Grab travels smoothly and locks on a compatible vertical lifeline.

Q: What rope and orientation should I use?
A: Use a compatible synthetic vertical lifeline (commonly around 5/8 in / 16 mm); install the grab with the UP arrow toward the anchorage and keep slack to a minimum.

Q: Can I tie back or use it for leading-edge work?
A: No—do not tie back to the lanyard/webbing and do not use for leading-edge or sharp-edge exposure; this assembly is intended for vertical lifelines only.

Q: Can it be reused after a fall, and what should I inspect?
A: If a fall is suspected or the tear indicator shows deployment, remove from service and replace. Before each use, inspect webbing, stitching, labels, absorber pack, snaphook auto-lock, and the ADP Grab’s cam/axle for damage or malfunction.
