  A: Attach only to structural concrete or steel per the engineer-of-record’s detail—never to roofing or non-structural materials. Position it so the load path is straight to structure, keep fall-arrest use within about ±30° of the working axis, and maintain required edge distances and clearances.
• Q: Does it require proof-load testing or periodic recertification?
  A: Anchors with a “W” suffix are proof-load tested up to 2,500 lb during certification. Follow your building’s program and local requirements (e.g., Cal-OSHA and IWCA) for annual inspection, label/ID tracking, and any scheduled re-certification or re-testing.
