Description
The S-5! Z Mini Clamp is an economical, non-penetrating clamp designed for use on round “bulb” seam roof profiles such as Zip-Rib®, BEMO, Kalzip®, and similar. It fits seams with bulb diameters up to 7/8″ (22 mm). The clamp is a shorter version of the standard Z clamp and uses one round-point Torx-T30 stainless steel setscrew instead of two. The M8 bolt for accessory mounting is not included in the Z Mini version. Ideal for lighter rooftop accessories such as signage, conduit, cable trays, satellite dishes, and lighting fixtures, where the full holding strength of the standard Z clamp is not required.

How To
- Identify that the roof profile is a bulb-seam type with bulb diameter ≤ 7/8″ (22 mm).

Position the clamp insert piece against the base of the bulb seam at the desired location.

Place the clamp body over the seam and aligned with the insert.

Insert the single Torx-T30 setscrew and hand-thread until clamp body seats securely.

Torque the setscrew to the manufacturer’s specified value for your material.

After installation and following exposure to snow, wind, or thermal cycles, inspect clamp tightness and alignment; re-tighten if necessary.
