Lucas #776 Elite™ Flashing Cement is designed as a super-premium, high-performance flashing cement intended for use on modified bitumen and asphalt roofs. It is also an excellent cold process inter-ply adhesive for SBS modified bitumen single-ply membranes. Cold process adhesives eliminate the need for hazardous torches and hot asphalt kettles. APPLICATION
Apply with a standard pointed roofer’s trowel, 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Surface must be clean and sound. Embed polyester or other reinforcement for increased strength. On wet surfaces some pressure may be required to displace the water. When used as an adhesive for SBS modified bitumen roofing, apply with a 1/8 inch notched trowel. Allow 10 to 15 minutes open time to allow for some of the solvent to evaporate before laying down the modified bitumen. Clean up with Lucas #125 Safe Solve™.
