OMG SpeedTite RetroDrain models SPT3A, SPT4A, SPT5A, SPT6A are retrofit roof drains designed to improve drainage performance by reducing vortexing and accelerating water removal. They install from the roof surface into existing drain leaders, featuring a mechanical seal that provides a watertight connection in seconds. With sizes from 3 to 6 inches and an extra-large flange, they accommodate most field conditions and work with many roof cover types.

• Remove existing strainer dome, clamping ring, and any drain components until the OMG SpeedTite flange can sit flush on roofing membrane.
• Clean and smooth the interior of the existing drain leader; remove debris and any obstructions.
• Insert the SpeedTite stem into the existing leader until flange lies flush. If necessary, cut stem to fit (maintain minimum clearance per spec).
• Tighten the wing nut on the vortex breaker until hand tight, ensuring there is no vertical movement.
• Fasten the flange to roof deck/nailer using at least three evenly spaced pan-head fasteners; ensure membrane flashing covers fasteners.
• If using a clamp ring version, install clamp ring over studs, use lock washers / nuts; install strainer dome. If using a coated flange version, hot-air weld membrane as required and secure strainer dome.
