    Description

The 6501 to 6504 series are flexible energy-absorbing web lanyards designed for single user fall arrest or work positioning. Each model uses internal shock-absorbing webbing to limit peak fall forces while allowing extension and retraction of the lanyard. They are built to ANSI and CSA standards with 3,600 lb rated connectors and peak force approximately 900 lb at 6 ft free fall.

    Key Features

    • Energy-absorbing web lanyard for one person
    • Internal shock tear webbing design
    • 3,600 lb rated connectors on both ends
    • Service length of 72″ with expandable elastic cover
    • Dual use: fall arrest and working positioning

    • Inspection / Indicators: Check webbing elasticity, stitching, labels, and auto-lock action before each use; remove from service after defects or any fall event
    • Environmental Resistance: UV- and abrasion-resistant webbing; corrosion-resistant hardware
    • Compatibility: Full-body harness D-rings, rated anchors/anchor straps, and compatible connectors (avoid side/cross-loading; protect from sharp edges)
    • Included: Flex (elasticized) lanyard assembly with selected connectors (harness and anchors sold separately)

    How To

    • Attach one connector to a certified anchor point, verifying orientation and full lock.
    • Connect the opposite end to the dorsal D-ring (or appropriate harness connection) and ensure it’s locked.
    • Allow the webbing to retract and extend as the user moves, maintaining slack control.
    • In the event of a fall, the internal tear webbing will deploy and absorb energy to limit peak forces.
    • After use, inspect the webbing, connectors, energy absorber, and cover for any signs of damage before reusing.
