S-5-T Clamp

The S-5! T Clamp is engineered for standing seam metal roof profiles with a “T”-shaped seam configuration having a horizontal projection up to 1.3″ (33 mm). It can also be used on architectural single-fold or angle-seam profiles having horizontal projection of 5/8″ (≈ 15 mm) or less. The clamp has a two-piece design that allows it to be placed over the top of the seam at any desired location. It features non-penetrating round-point Torx-T30 stainless setscrews to grip the seam without piercing it, preserving coatings and warranties. The standard version includes two setscrews and an M8 bolt for accessory attachment; the Mini version uses one setscrew and omits the bolt for lighter loads. It is suitable for heavy-duty applications such as snow retention, solar mounting, and other rooftop accessories.

• Identify roof profile and measure seam shape: confirm “T”-shaped seam ≤ 1.3″ horizontal, or angle/single-fold ≤ 0.625″ if using that option.
• Position clamp insert (first piece) against one side of seam; align clamp body above seam.
• Insert and hand-thread setscrews until clamp body seats on seam.
• For standard version, install M8 accessory bolt; for Mini, omit bolt.
• Tighten setscrews and bolt (if applicable) to manufacturer’s torque specification.
• After installation and exposure to loads or temperature cycles, re-check fasteners and clamp alignment.
