Lucas 771 Asphalt Plastic Roof Cement Premium 3 GAL

Lucas #771 Plastic Roof Cement is a Premium Grade trowel-applied Flashing Cement used to install, repair or rebuild roof flashings at parapet walls, gravel stops, stacks, vents, monitors and similar applications. #771 may be used with fiberglass, polyester fabrics or roll roofing for permanent repairs. If repairing modified bitumen please refer to our #776 Elite™ Rubberized Flashing Cement. For repairs to wet or underwater surfaces please refer to our #779 Mastic Roof Cement or to #776.

#771 Plastic Roof Cement is manufactured from Type I Roofing Asphalt, petroleum solvents and non-asbestos reinforcing fibers. It applies fast and smooth, breaks cleanly off the trowel without stringing, yet stays in place, even when hot-mopped. No asbestos, slate flour, limestone dust or other extenders are used.

The surface to be repaired must be clean, dry and free of debris. Apply #771 Plastic Roof Cement evenly with a pointed roofer's trowel or gloved hand. #771 should be applied 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick and may be reinforced with glass membrane or polyester fabric to strengthen the repair. When making a permanent repair to a blister, open up the area and allow it to dry thoroughly. Clean up with Lucas #125 Safe Solve™.

Combustible mixture, keep away from heat and open flames. Avoid prolonged contact with skin or fumes. If irritation occurs seek medical attention. Do not use near heat or open flame. Keep out of reach of children. Read MSDS prior to use.
