Description
TieTex polyester is one of the strongest materials available as reinforcement in cold process roofing. It offers an unusual combination of high strength properties, delivering good elongation for excellent thermal stress force accommodations. Tietex polyester fabric is a stitch-bonded, high-performance fabric for use in applied built-up roofing and roof maintenance systems using either water-based asphalt, acrylic emulsions, or solvent type coatings or mastic.
Commonly used with liquid roof coatings to create a solid reinforcement layer. It is compatible with liquid solvent-based asphalt roof coatings, water-based emulsion coatings, cold-applied built-up roofing, elastomeric roof coatings and other liquid roof maintenance and restoration systems.
