Description
The Marathon BCTS49 Copper-Tite is a 4-inch retrofit roof drain with a copper body and factory-applied expanding anti-backup tape seal. This drain fits tightly into existing pipes and comes with a standard ABS 10-inch clamping ring and a 10-inch polyethylene strainer. Available with either a 14-inch small flange or 18-inch large flange, the BCTS49 provides a durable, watertight retrofit solution with a 9-inch outlet length.

How To
- Identify the correct BCTS49 model with the needed flange size (small or large).

Clean and prep the existing drain sleeve and membrane around the drain.

Test-fit the drain in the sleeve before removing the tape restraint.
-
Remove tape restraint and insert immediately so the expanding tape fills the gap in the sleeve.

Seat the flange flat on the roof surface.

Install the 10-inch ABS clamping ring and bolt in the 10-inch polyethylene strainer.

Flash the flange as specified by the roofing membrane system.
