The JL Industries Aluminum Roof Hatch RHDA-5 ( RHA-5 ) 48 in. x 48 in. Mill Finish from Industrial Hardware and Specialties is designed to provide roof access from the interior of the building from a normal ladder, step ladder or stairs. The Model RHDA-5 ( Replaces RHA-5 ) has a 12" high curb made from 11 gauge aluminum and 3-1/2" wide flange around the base for securing to roof deck. The cover includes a 11 gauge aluminum exterior and 18 gauge aluminum liner with a TPE draft seal gasket door seal. The hardware includes a heavy duty clear zinc-plated steel pintle hinge, a compression operated heavy gauge automatic hold open arm with a shock absorbing cylinder, and red vinyl grip.
