Description

The S-5! SnoPost E is a stainless steel post engineered for use in S-5! SnoFence™ snow retention systems. When threaded into an S-5-AE end clamp, it positions an upper SnoRod approximately 2″ above the first rod, creating a two-rail barrier for increased snow retention under heavy service conditions. SnoPost E is used at both ends of the assembly and at intervals of roughly 50 feet to “fix” the upper rod, preventing lateral displacement while allowing the remainder of the rod run to accommodate thermal expansion.

Key Features:

• Stainless steel post used with AE end clamps to support an upper SnoRod about 2″ above the first rod
• Used at each end of rod runs and at fixed intervals (~50 ft) to prevent rod migration
• Enhances performance of SnoFence systems under heavier snow or service loads
• Durable stainless steel material for longevity and corrosion resistance
• Simple to install: thread into clamp and insert rod

Specifications

• Material: Stainless steel
• Vertical separation: Approximately 2″ above the lower SnoRod
• Rod compatibility: 3/8″ SnoRod
• Use frequency: One at each end of assembly and one per 50′ of run
• Includes: One SnoPost E post (AE end clamp and rods not included)

How To

  • Plan the SnoFence assembly, marking both ends and 50′ intervals for fixed positions.
  • Install AE end clamps at ends and fixed positions.
  • Thread SnoPost E into the AE clamp securely.
  • Insert the upper SnoRod into the SnoPost E hole, approximately 2″ above the first SnoRod.
