S-5-K HD Seam Clamp

The S-5! K HD Seam Clamp (KHD) is the strongest clamp in the S-5! lineup for bulb snap-together (concealed-fix) metal roof profiles such as KlipLok 406, McElroy Mirage, Clip-Loc, and Klip-Rib. It includes an extruded aluminum insert that fits into an intermediate seam for extra holding strength. It uses four Torx T-30 round-point setscrews and a top M8 bolt for accessory mounting. KHD is designed primarily for new construction (6-inch insert snapped in during panel assembly), but also offers a 3-inch insert variant for retrofit or eave applications. It’s well-suited for snow retention systems, PV mounting, and other heavy-duty attachments.

• For new construction, snap the 6-inch insert into the underside of the vault panel before installation; for retrofit or eave, use the 3-inch insert sliding into the intermediate seam.

• Tighten all four setscrews using a Torx T-30 bit to specified torque.
• Attach accessory via the top M8 bolt.
• Verify clamp body is seated properly and insert is engaged.
