S-5-K Clamp

The S-5! K Grip Clamp is engineered for concealed-fastened, bulb snap-together roof profiles such as KlipLok®, Clip-Loc, KlipRib®, Speed Deck, Loc-Rib®, Mirage®, and similar panels. It uses side-bolts rather than setscrews, and the top mounting bolt is positioned over the center of the seam to reduce the moment arm, improving strength and minimizing seam distortion. Interchangeable inserts (sold separately) match various seam geometries. There is also a “Mini” version which is shorter and uses one side-bolt instead of two. Made from structural aluminum body and stainless steel hardware (excluding copper roofs), it is suitable for mounting accessories like solar panels, lighting, signs, conduit, and more.

• Identify roof profile as snap-together bulb-seam (KlipLok or similar) and select appropriate insert matching seam dimensions.
• Place the insert under the shoulder of the rib at installation location.
• Position clamp body over the rib and insert so bolt aligns with the seam center.
• Tighten side bolts until clamp body seats securely without over-compressing seam.
• Install top bolt for accessory mounting.
• After exposure to wind, snow, or thermal shifts, inspect clamp body, bolts, and accessory for secure fit and re-tighten as necessary.
