Shingle Eater, Inc. is a manufacturer of high-quality tools for the roofing and siding industry. The company was founded by a group of contractors who recognized the need for an ergonomically designed roofing tool. Their first prototype was developed and brought to market in 1981. Being contractors themselves, the developers wanted to manufacture a tool with contractors' best interests in mind. The Shingle Eater was intended to get roofing projects completed efficiently and with the least amount of stress on the body.
