RACE Metal Building Grade Butyl Tape is a premium, high-tensile, non-drying sealing tape used for seams, panel laps, joints, and penetrations in metal building and roofing applications. It remains permanently flexible to accommodate normal expansion and contraction while helping prevent air, dust, and moisture intrusion.
Available in multiple thicknesses, widths, and bead configurations, this tape is designed for compression sealing in both standard and high-movement applications. The rubber-based formulation delivers strong adhesion, excellent elongation, and long-term durability across a wide service temperature range.
