Millennium EPDM Seam Tape

Millennium EPDM Seam Tape is a black, vulcanized rubber, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape engineered to create robust, watertight seams for EPDM single-ply roofing membranes. It offers strong initial tack, excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, and meets OEM-grade performance standards. Compatible with multiple surfaces, this tape is often used in restoration and new roofing applications without the need for torch or liquid adhesives.

Limitations: Not for use on PVC membranes; not suitable for high-traffic areas

• Clean and dry the surface to receive the flashing; ensure it is free of dirt, oils, debris, or contaminants.
• Apply EPDM primer to both sides of the membrane along the splice area; scrub while the primer is wet.
• Allow primer to dry to the touch (typically under 20 minutes).
• Position the Millennium EPDM Seam Tape over the splice edge; press onto the substrate, leaving ~1/8" overhang beyond the membrane edge.
• Gradually peel the liner at about a 45° angle, allowing the membrane to fall onto the tape.
• Immediately roll the splice with a 2" silicone roller perpendicular to the seam edge.
• Seal the edge of the seam detail using Millennium EPDM Edge Sealant.
• Allow up to 24 hours for the taped seam to develop full bond strength.
