    Description

The CT-6343 Millennium EPDM Edge Sealant is a one-component, high-solids, low-VOC compound designed to seal and protect exposed EPDM membrane edges, seams, and flashings. It offers excellent adhesion to EPDM, metal, wood, and concrete substrates. The black formulation resists UV light, heat, and moisture for long-term performance in commercial roofing applications.

    Key features:

    • Low VOC formulation (<250 g/L)
    • High solids content (~80%)
    • Excellent adhesion to EPDM, metal, wood, and concrete
    • Resistant to UV light, heat, and moisture
    • Suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications

    How To

    • Ensure all EPDM seams, flashings, and terminations are properly installed according to the roof system manufacturer’s guidelines.
    • Clean surfaces to remove dust, oils, and contaminants. Allow to dry thoroughly.
    • Cut nozzle to desired bead size and install a feathering tip if available.
    • Apply a ¼″ (6.4 mm) bead of sealant along the exposed membrane edge or flashing.
    • Tool the bead if necessary so it feathers smoothly onto the deck surface. Allow the sealant to cure completely before exposure to heavy weather.
