Meet John Maher: Regional Sales Manager
If you know John Maher, you know he is as dependable as they come. Straightforward, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, John has been part of the roofing industry since 1997. With over 27 years of experience, he has seen nearly every side of the business.
John began his career as a diesel mechanic in the Marine Corps, later managing shop operations for a large roofing contractor. This hands-on background gives him a practical understanding of what contractors face daily. At Big Rock Supply, John is known for providing fast responses, honest advice, and dependable solutions that help customers get the job done right.
Meet Kyle Van Zandt: Business Development Manager
Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management with an additional focus in human resources. With 18 years of experience in sales and technical roles within the curtain wall and metal fastening industries, he also brings valuable roofing knowledge to the team.
Having grown up in the industry through his family’s company, ICAN Supply LLC, Kyle took over operations in 2017 and led the company until 2023. He later joined Pro Fastening, where he gained further experience specializing in roofing sealants and coatings while continuing to expand his expertise in fasteners.
Meet Don Verfaillie: Regional Sales Manager
With over 20 years in the roofing industry, Don Verfaillie is a name many professionals already know. He has spent most of his life around roofers and understands the challenges they face. Don is known for his practical approach, problem-solving ability, and genuine commitment to helping customers find the right solutions.
Whether it is tracking down a hard-to-find part, troubleshooting a tricky installation, or providing expert advice on roof drains, Don gets it done. He is dependable, responsive, and focused on results, but just as importantly, he values the relationships he has built along the way. With more than 25 years in distribution and sales within the commercial construction trades, Mike Cigrand brings extensive product knowledge and field experience to Big Rock Supply. His background includes roofing applications, product training, and close collaboration with manufacturers and vendors to support contractors in the field.
Mike stands out for his relationship-first approach. He does more than sell products; he builds partnerships. Many of his customers consider him an extension of their own team because he consistently works to help them grow and succeed. Whether he is introducing new products, improving productivity, or coordinating joint calls, Mike is committed to creating long-term success for his partners and the industry.

With more than 22 years of experience in the fastener industry, Scott Schiller has built his career from the ground up. Starting in 2003, immediately after college, he has held roles in inside and outside sales, operations, management, and purchasing. This broad experience gives Scott a deep understanding of every aspect of the business, from purchasing and logistics to customer relations and product application.
Scott specializes in fastener solutions and takes pride in helping clients solve technical challenges. Whether it involves identifying the right product for a unique application or improving procurement efficiency, he is committed to creating value for his customers and strengthening their business operations.
