Description
Mobile Edge Rolling Machine for the Edging and Bending of Sheet Metal
The Freund Disk Bender is used to continue the bend from 90° to as much as 180° to create beautiful hems on curved flashings! The bend dimension is based on the depth of the 90 degree bend provided.
- Bends inside and outside radii [36″ radius is nominal, but can be made tighter depending on type of material]
- The Disk Bender self aligns to the previous bend [3/8″ minimum] up to 1-5/8″
- Bends copper, zinc, aluminum up to .032″ and steel up to 22ga, 90 - 180 degrees
- Bending height min – 3/8”, max – 1 5/8”
- No alignment or adjustment height necessary
- Expandable with a second disk roller and adapter to become a double disk roller
- Application of eaves and gutter flashings, alterations, etc...
CAUTION - Maximum Sheet Strength/Thickness:
- Zinc, Aluminum = 1 mm (0.04 in.
- Copper = 0.8 mm (0.03 in.)
- Steel = 0.7 mm (0.028 in.)
- Stainless Steel, rust-proof = 0.5 mm (0.02 in.)
