Super Anchor Safety 1004 - Vertical Wall Anchor & Fastner Kit

A purpose-built anchorage solution for vertical framing. The 1004 kit creates a dependable tie-off point on stud walls, posts, or headers so crews can work safely on decks, scaffolds, and wall lines during framing and finish phases. The steel anchor plate and forged connection point combine with the included fasteners to deliver a rugged, job-tough installation for a single user when mounted into solid structure. Use with an energy-absorbing lanyard or SRL and follow the service-zone and clearance limits in the instructions.

  A: Install it during framing, but don’t tie off until roof sheathing and truss/rafter bracing are complete and the anchor is fully bolted per the instructions.

  A: Mount over a structural member, typically 12–18 inches below the ridge, and keep the lifeline aligned with the expected fall path to reduce swing-fall; avoid side- or back-loading.
• Q: What connection gear is appropriate?
  A: Use ANSI-compliant locking snap hooks or carabiners with an energy-absorbing lanyard or SRL, and verify required fall clearance before work begins.
• Q: How do inspection and retirement work for a permanent anchor?
  A: Check the unit before each use and have a competent person perform periodic documented inspections. Remove it from service after any fall event or if you find deformation, corrosion, elongated holes, loose/damaged fasteners, or compromised flashing/stem cover.
