To seal all windows when installed regardless of surfaces being joined. WindowSeal Tape creates a moisture tight, air and vapor barrier and can be applied during extremely cold
temperatures easily. WindowSeal features EternaBond’s self-sealing advanced MicroSealant™ Technology, a sealant so advanced it permanently bonds to create a permanent, flexible seal to a wide range of surfaces including glass, wood, aluminum, vinyl, OSB,
polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, Tyvek™, fiberglass, brick, concrete, masonry, and virtually all construction materials.
Basic Use
WindowSeal Tape is a self sealing adhesive that creates a water tight seal between
the window frame and virtually all structure surfaces. Irregular or curved surfaces are
easy because Eternabond WindowSeal is extremely conformable. WindowSeal, if kept
warm (room temperature+) prior to installation can be installed at temperatures as
low as 20ºF, and as low as -20ºF with optional EternaPrime. No staples or nails required.
Composition
WindowSeal utilizes EternaBond’s advanced MicroSealant™ Technology, a 100% solids
formulation of synthetic resins, thermoplastics, and non-curing rubbers, with a built in
primer on a stretchable, low density polyethylene (LDPE) backing.

Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and dry. Moisture, dust, dirt, and other foreign matter should
be removed. Remove oil, grease, etc. with a suitable cleaner.
Application
Eternabond EternaPrime has been developed specifically for use with WindowSeal and
all Eternabond Tapes. Use EternaPrime before applying Eternabond WindowSeal Tapes
over a dirty or rusty surface. Use the EternaPrime if the roof temperature is below
40ºF. Let EternaPrime dry to a tacky consistency before applying Eternabond
WindowSeal Tapes. To apply the WindowSeal, remove the release liner and apply to
the surface(s) to be protected or sealed. Rub to activate.
