The Moheco UniFlash Chimney Flashing Kit System is the original patented chimney flashing kit, first launched in 1992. It includes all components needed to flash a single-flue chimney; for double flues, two kits are required. The system uses a two-layer approach: traditional step-flashing with a base and cricket, plus a pre-formed counter-flashing with a nailing strip and mastic channel for sealing. Available in retrofit and reglet styles, with five standard colors and a special-order copper option.

• Shingle up to and across the base of the chimney until the tar line is within at least 4 inches. 
• Center and install the base flashing across the chimney, extending 3-4 inches past both ends, notch tabs and wrap around sides. 
• Install step flashings on both sides of the chimney alongside shingles, leaving approximately a ¼″-½″ gap from chimney for drainage. 
• Then install the pre-formed counter flashing layer: align tops all around chimney, use masonry fasteners and seal seams and corners to prevent leaks. 
• Inspect thoroughly to ensure no gaps or openings where water, ice or snow can penetrate.
