The
ASE Hydraulic Swing Hoists are powered by Honda engines. The load and
swing are controlled by powerful hydraulic system that gives smooth
feathering of loads with fingertip control and precision. The long
hoses allow the power unit to be placed within 10ft of the winch,
giving the operator maximum control when hoisting odd sized loads.
ASE
Hydraulic Swing Hoist are now available with an electric motor power
option. Contact your local dealer for more information.
Winch Unit
The
extensive power of the power pack is matched with a heavy duty winch
unit. For safety this winch is constructed of heavy gauge steel and the
hydraulics include a double braking system. In the event that the disk
brake in the hydraulic motor fails a custom hydraulic counterbalance
valve onto the side of the winch engages. This valve activates if there
is a sudden drop in pressure, ie a hose breaking. This acts within 10ft
of load drop to secure your load and protect the people working under
your hoist.
Swing Both Ways:
Versatility
is one of the key factors that ASE designs for in their equipment. The
ASE swing hoist is a truly versatile machine, capable of swinging to
the left or right depending on the frame setup. This allows the hoist
to be setup in even some of the most difficult areas.
Transporting the Hoist:
While
this is a large unit when set up it can be split into small enough
components to be taken up a freight elevator or transported in a pickup
truck. The two largest pieces, the front frame and counterweight base
both split apart cutting their size in half. Another feature that sets
the ASE swing hoist apart are the axles mounted onto the end of the
front hoist frame. These axles allow a completely assembled frame to be
moved to different locations on the roof without the excess labor of
disassembling the hoist.

Hand Winch:
Optional Hand Winch: For
lifting the power pack and winch to the roof deck on low-rise jobs a
hand winch is available. This hand winch holds 120ft 3/16" cable and
pins onto the frame in the place of the winch. This can be use to winch
the hydraulic winch and power pack up to the roof deck.

Note: Hand winch and wheels for frame are sold separately from hoist. |
