    Description

The Van Mark IT10-S Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster is a 10' 6" heavy-duty siding and metal roofing brake built for demanding commercial and industrial jobsites. With its POWERlock™ bar, POWERslot™ hinge, and 14" throat depth, it delivers crisp, consistent bends in aluminum, galvanized and painted steel, copper, zinc, and more. The included Xtreme Stand™ keeps the brake rock-solid while still staying portable, so one installer can set up, operate, and move it as needed. From roof flashings and fascia to commercial trims and HVAC metal, the Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster is engineered to be a long-term workhorse for serious metal pros.

    Key Features

    • Industrial-Grade Bending Power
Engineered to bend up to 24 ga painted steel, 20 ga galvanized steel, and .050" aluminum, plus roofing copper and zinc, giving contractors true industrial capacity for roofing, siding, and metal building work.
    • POWERlock™ Cam Locking Top Bar
New POWERlock bar delivers stronger, more uniform clamping pressure along the entire bending edge, reducing oil canning and warping while producing sharp, clean bend lines and hems.
    • POWERslot™ Hinge with 5/8" Auto-Hem
POWERslot technology “auto-measures” hems and supports up to 180° bends, making it easier to create complex profiles, hems, and over-bends without constant adjustments.
    • 14" Throat Depth
Traditional 14" depth allows you to bend in the center of 28" sheets, perfect for soffits, roof flashings, ridge caps, fascia, and deeper commercial trim profiles that smaller brakes can’t handle.
    • Xtreme Stand™ Included
Heavy-duty Xtreme Stand sets up and breaks down in minutes with quick pins, giving a rigid, non-rocking base that won’t rust, rattle, or wander while you’re bending full-length pieces.
    • Non-Marring Vinyl Strips
Integrated vinyl strips protect painted and clad finishes so completed parts come off the brake with clean surfaces and crisp bend lines, ideal for exposed architectural trim.
    • Adjustable UHMW Wedge System
Independently adjustable UHMW wedges in each casting let you fine-tune clamping pressure and alignment over time, extending service life and maintaining factory-grade accuracy even after years of use.
    • One-Person Operation
Full-loop locking and bending handles are designed for ergonomic, single-operator use, so one installer can clamp, bend, and hem long pieces without help.
    • Built for Harsh Jobsite Use
Military-grade aluminum castings, dual base rails, and a hollow-core hinge design create a tough, portable brake that stands up to daily loading, transport, and heavy production work.

    Details & Benefits

Base Rails: Van Mark brakes have 2 full base rail extrusions for a full frame brake and the castings are mounted on top of them. Other brakes have a rear rail but do not have a separate front base rail. This is why other brakes can twist and struggle with anything thicker than .019 aluminum.

Cam Locking system: Van Mark brakes use a simple 2 piece rotating cam and wedge that self adjusts to different material thicknesses. Other manufacturers use a complicated toggle lock that "pops" closed causing metal contact and wear, as well as requires manual adjustments for different material thicknesses. With fewer moving parts the cam and wedge system requires minimum maintenance.

Castings: Van Mark brakes use a cast aluminum base and cast aluminum top locking arm. Others use a combination of cast aluminum and a lesser quality aluminum angle for their top locking arm.

Locking Handle: The Van Mark brakes lock by pushing handle away from the user which is a more efficient way to keep the handle out of the way on large bends. If a user learned on other brakes, they may be used to locking brakes backwards. A few days of use and they are typically used to the more efficient Van Mark way.

Bending Handle: Van Mark uses full loop handles with 2-4 integrated contact points that allow for truer bends. Other brakes use independent stick handles prone to uneven bends. Also, the Van Mark handle posts don't catch and break when loading the brake on and off a truck.

    FAQs

Q: What is the Van Mark IT10-S Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster used for?
A: The IT10-S Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster is used for bending and hemming aluminum, painted and galvanized steel, copper, zinc, and similar sheet metals to make fascia, drip edge, roof flashings, ridge caps, soffit, and custom commercial trim profiles right on the jobsite. It’s aimed at roofing, siding, and metal building contractors who need industrial-grade bending capacity.

Q: What material thickness can the IT10-S Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster handle?
A: The IT10-S is typically rated to bend up to about .050" aluminum, 24-gauge painted or stainless steel, 20-gauge galvanized steel, and 36 oz soft roofing copper, plus zinc and common vinyl trim materials, giving plenty of range for industrial roofing and architectural metal work.

Q: Does the IT10-S Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster come with a stand, and is it portable?
A: Yes. The IT10-S is normally supplied with the Xtreme Stand™, which sets up and breaks down using quick pins. The stand provides a rigid base while still allowing one or two crew members to move the brake on and off trucks and around the jobsite for on-site bending.

Q: What makes the Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster different from lighter-duty siding brakes?
A: The Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster includes the POWERlock™ bar, POWERslot™ hinge, a traditional 14" throat depth, and non-marring vinyl strips, plus an adjustable cam-lock system with UHMW wedges. Together, these features give it higher bending capacity, crisper bends, and longer-term adjustability than many lighter-duty brakes, making it better suited for frequent use with heavier metals and commercial projects.

    What's in the Box

Q:What is the difference between the Mark I (red) and Mark II TrimMaster (green) Brakes?

A: The hinge. The Mark I has a set hinge and the Mark II has a POWERslot hinge. The POWERslot hinge makes a standard 5/8 in. bend and the set hinge makes a standard 3/4 in. bend.

Q: Why a Van Mark brake over a Competitors?

A: The Overall Quality and the tools are stronger: 2 full base rails for a full frame brake and a locking jaw with a reinforced aluminum hollow core extrusion.

A: Lower maintenance and cost of ownership: Fewer moving parts mean fewer things to go wrong, fewer field adjustments and less need to be repaired.

Which Van Mark is the closest competitor to the others 14 in. throat and 19 in. throat brakes?

    A: The TM10 and M10 have a 14 in. throat depth and the MM1050 has a 20 3/8 in. throat depth.

    Q:Are replacement/maintenance parts available?

A: Yes. Parts are available for every Van Mark EVER manufactured.

Q: What metals are the Van Mark Brakes designed to bend?

A: Mark I; Mark II; Metal Master 20 & Trim-A-Brake : Residential light gauge aluminum coil.

Mark IV TrimMaster & Industrial Metal Master 20 : Industrial painted and roofing steel.

Q:How thick will the TrimCutter cut?

A: Up to 24 ga. painted steel, or generally anything the brake will bend.

Q:Will Van Mark TrimCutter, TrimFormer and QuickScore work on competitors brakes?

A: No. Van Mark uses a 4-point track bearing system while others use less expensive dual-point tracking system. Therefore, other brakes are not built to properly accommodate these Van Mark Accessories.

Q:Does the CD24 attach to the brake?

A: No, unlike others that require you to attach it to the brake for it to work, the Van Mark Coil Dispenser offers you the choice to not only set up to feed directly into any brake, but also onto a table or work bench if you should require that.
