The MiniCurb™ was designed to seal small penetrations such as HVAC conduit and drains, exterior lighting supports, surveillance cameras, mounts for solar panels and light angle-iron struts.

The MiniCurb is built with a special fiberglass reinforced nylon that is tough and durable. Its unique slip-fit components permit quick assembly around penetrations that can't be disturbed. MiniCurbs are installed with the same adhesive as the larger ChemCurbs® and a specially formulated sealant. MiniCurbs have a flanged bottom that allows for external flashing with appropriate membrane material.

Each 3" MiniCurb Kit contains (10) curb component sets, (8) 10.1 oz. cartridges of 1-part pourable sealer and (2) tubes of M-1® adhesive / sealant.

MiniCurbs are installed in the same manner as larger ChemCurbs,

1) Remove all asphalt or cement from the penetration with a wire brush and clean residual dirt and oil with alcohol. Clean surrounding roofing material as well. (TPO should be primed with ChemLink TPO Primer)

2) Seal the base of the penetration with M-1 to prevent drainage of sealant into building.

3) Prime the penetration with a film of M-1 to 2 inches above the roof surface.

4) Coat the bottom of the flange with a double bead of M-1.

5) Place the coated MiniCurb components around the penetration and slip the edges together unitizing them into a solid ring.

6) Coat Exterior Seam with Bead of M-1.

7) Firmly press the assembled MiniCurb down on the roof membrane until excess adhesive squeezes out at the edges. Wipe off excess adhesive.

8) Fill the interior of the MiniCurb with 1-Part pourable sealer. Make sure the interior is filled to the top to prevent water from accumulating at the top.
