Lucas 125 Safe-Solve Asphalt and Sealant Remover 32 OZ SPRAY

Lucas #125 Safe-Solve bio-based tar, asphalt and sealant remover is an all-purpose, low-odor, natural solvent cleaner. It’s intended for removing tar, asphalt and sealants from equipment and building components including vinyl siding, glass windows and factory finished aluminum trim. Safe-Solve is also ideally suited for cleaning tools and equipment. Use to remove asphalt and sealants from hand tools, vehicles, caulking guns and other items. With a flash point in excess of +200° F, Safe-Solve can be safely used to soak tools overnight prior to cleaning without creating a fire hazard as with mineral spirits or gasoline. Despite it’s mild odor, Safe-Solve has almost twice the solvent power of mineral spirits. Safe for use on hands and skin. Keep out of eyes.

APPLICATION

Remove as much of the material to be treated as possible before applying this product. Test in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Apply to surface, allow to sit for several minutes, then wipe clean. Repeat as necessary. Rinse area with plain water to remove oily residue. 95% of residual applied cleaner will bio-degrade within 28 days. This product may alter the appearance of vinyl siding with a chalky or porous surface. Tools may be soaked overnight to remove heavy residues of asphalt or window caulking. Acrylic paint and caulk will be softened allowing for easier removal. Not effective on most urethane products. Do not apply to painted surfaces. Read Product Data Bulletin prior to use.
