• Q: Do I need to fasten the bar into the truss chords with nails or screws?
  A: No. The Safety Bar clamps onto the top chords using the stainless detent pins; you don’t drive nails or screws into the chords. Make sure the saddles are fully seated and the pins are fully engaged.
• Q: When in the build should I use it, and when should I remove it?
  A: Use it during the open-framing/truss-setting phase to provide tie-off before sheathing. Remove it before roof sheathing goes down and switch to permanent anchors for the remainder of the project.
• Q: Can two workers tie off at the same time, and what connectors are acceptable?
  A: Yes—when used as part of a properly designed PFAS, two workers can connect simultaneously. Use ANSI-compliant locking hooks or carabiners with energy-absorbing lanyards or SRLs, and verify required fall clearance.
