It incorporates a switchable specific gravity adjustment for most wood species, plus it provides relative readings deep into most building materials. such as Drywall, Roofing, Brick, Ceramic tile etc.
The MRH also has the additional option of a Hygrometer mode to measure Relative Humidity, Temperature, Dew Point Temperature and Grains/lb.by simply plugging in the optional Tramex Relative Humidity Probe. Allows for use with ASTM F2170 and ASTM F2420. The MRH operates as a pin-type wood meter when used with the WPIE (Wood Probe Interface Electronics) and a Hand or Hammer Electrode.
