EternaBond EternaPrime is used to condition surfaces that are oxidized, dusty, or cannot be fully cleaned, or when installation temperatures drop below 40 °F. How To
- Clean the surface to be treated by removing heavy accumulations of loose rust, scale, dust, talc, and dirt.

Remove oil, grease, or other contaminants with a suitable solvent cleaner.

If ambient temperature is below 40 °F or surface is porous/dusty, apply EternaPrime with a roller, brush, or spray as appropriate.

Allow the primer film to set (typically ~15 minutes at 60 °F) before applying EternaBond tape.

Proceed to apply EternaBond tape following the tape manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the conditioned surface is fully dry and prepared.
