The Raptor Alert Fall Warning System is the only product on the market that alerts other workers if a fall occurs on a job site. Often job sites are busy and noisy, which could cause a fall to go unnoticed for a prolonged period of time. Allowing an employee to suspend for more than 30 minutes can cause unconsciousness that can be followed by death. AES Raptor has designed a new innovative device that alerts workers to a fall by a piercing 130 decibel siren and an amber colored strobe light. This unit can be installed on all R1000 Mobile Fall Protection units currently in the market place or can be factory installed with the purchase of your new R1000 or TriRex.
- Amber MICROSTROBE® IV Strobe Light emits 60 to 80 flashes per minute
- Piercing 130 Decibel Multi-Tone Siren emits Two Tones Simultaneously
- Rechargable, Maintenance-Free 12-V Battery
- Easy to retrofit on existing units
- Easy to test with your daily inspections
- Audible & visual warning

WHAT IS THE AES RAPTOR ALERT?
The Raptor Alert is both a visual and audible alerting system that is activated when the Fall Arrest Engagement Arm is engaged.
WHY DO I WANT THE RAPTOR ALERT?
Job sites are often very busy and noisy, if a fall was to occur; time is of the essence when it comes to rescuing a fallen worker. The Raptor Alert assures you that you and everyone on the jobsite are aware of the situation as soon as a fall has occurred so safety measures can be implemented immediately.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
If a fall were to occur, the Raptor Alert’s magnetic proximity switch activates, thus closing the circuit, turning on the highly visible amber strobe light and the 130 decibel siren.
IS THE RAPTOR ALERT ADAPTABLE TO MY EXSITING R1000?
Yes, the Raptor Alert has been designed to fit the new R1000 and TriRex as well as all the previous versions of the R1000.
HOW DO I TEST THE RAPTOR ALERT TO SEE IF IT’S WORKING CORRECTLY?
At the beginning of each shift a competent individual needs to inspect the Fall Arrest Engagement Arm to make sure it is free and clear of all obstructions, then simply press down on the Engagement Arm for 5 to 10 seconds to insure the alarm and strobe light are working properly.
WHAT ABOUT THE BATTERY? WHEN DO I CHARGE?
Maintenance Free - The sealed lead acid batteries are valve regulated and are safe to use in any position, there is no need to add electrolyte.
Life Expectancy - The sealed lead acid batteries will last up to 5 years in stand-by applications and 200 to 1000 cycles in cyclic applications depending on depth of discharge
Shelf Life and Storage - The sealed lead acid batteries should be stored in a fully charged condition and top charged every six (6) months in ambient temperatures to prevent permanent loss of capacity. Periodic low amp charge will increase the life
expectancy of the battery.
