Eternabond - WebSeal Roof Repair Tape , Coatable Microsealant

EternaBond WebSeal tape features a woven polyester backing laminated to MicroSealant® adhesive technology, forming a flexible, self-sealing barrier for roof seams, tears, flashings and transitions. It adheres to diverse surfaces including metal, TPO, EPDM, concrete and masonry and remains flexible even in extreme low temperatures. The tape may be top-coated and conforms to complex shapes without memory for long-term durability.

• Clean the surface to be repaired; remove dust, oil, grease, rust scale or contaminants and ensure it is dry.
• If ambient temperature is below 40 °F (4 °C) or surface is porous, apply EternaPrime® according to manufacturer instructions.
• Cut the tape to required length and peel back the release liner gradually while aligning the tape to the repair area.
• Press the tape into place using firm hand pressure or a steel roller to activate full adhesion and eliminate air voids.
• If adjacent strips are needed, overlap by recommended minimum and inspect the edges for full contact; once applied the surface may be top-coated if desired.

Q: Can WebSeal tape be applied to roofing membranes like EPDM or TPO?
A: Yes. The manufacturer lists compatibility with EPDM, TPO and other single-ply systems.

Q: Does WebSeal require a top-coat or additional sealing after application?
A: A topcoat is recommended if UV protection is needed, but the tape itself forms a waterproof, air-tight barrier when properly applied.

Q: Is WebSeal suitable for extremely low temperature installations?
A: Yes. It remains flexible down to –70 °F (–56 °C) and can be applied at temperatures as low as –20 °F with primer.
